The Logo

The Logo of the Danish Club "Dannebrog" was inspired by the popular lapel badge which was issued in Denmark to celebrate the 70th birthday of King Christian X in September 1940. At the time the badge became extremely popular and was worn by thousands of Danes as an indication of their feelings of affection and patriotism towards the King.

The importance of the badge was increased shortly after the German occupation of Denmark during the Second World War as it was displayed as a non-violent resistance against the occupation.
